Christmas is the most favorite time of the year for the Nordic. It is important for several reasons - it lifts spirits during the toughest time of the year when sickness and cold temperatures often claimed easy victims. It defies the forces of evil that lurks in the dark. Based on this story, we created four charms that symbolized the spirit of Nordic Christmas to remind the people that no matter how challenging 2020 was, hopes must be kept high. These charms were later wrapped as a gift and sent inside a greeting card. While the receivers were waiting for the card to arrive, we prepared a digital greeting video that narrated the stories from each charm.
The true meaning of Christmas lies in a simplicity and kindness. Where we all have to be humble, kind and grateful for all little blessings we receive throughout our life. Our simple kind of act matters, just like the Santa Claus song tells “So be good for goodness sake”.
